Is-sinjal għal XAGĦAR XOTT għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal XAGĦAR b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ F bis-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej imissu u s-swaba’ l-oħra mifrudin u bil-pala tħares ’il barra. Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jaqbdu ftit xagħar mill-ġenb ta’ fuq ir-ras. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal XOTT. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ B milwija bil-ponot tas-swaba’ ma’ xulxin u bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. Is-saba’ l-kbir jitla’ ftit ’il fuq imiss ma xi swaba’ waqt li l-idejn jiffurmaw T u jersqu lejn il-ġnub waqt li jduru biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’il fuq. Il-ħalq jifforma l-kelma NIEXEF.
The sign for DRY HAIR has two parts. (i) First the sign for HAIR is made with one hand that takes the shape of F with thumb and index finger touching and the other fingers apart and palm facing outwards. The thumb and index finger hold onto some strands of hair from the side top of the head. (ii) Then the sign for DRY is made. The hands take the shape of bent B with fingertips touching and palms facing inwards. The thumb moves a little upwards touching some fingers whilst the hands form the shape of T and move to the sides as they turn so that the palm faces upwards. The mouth articulates the word NIEXEF (dry).
